"An essential device if you wish to get the most out of your Hue light bulbs. It allows the bulbs to have much more advanced functionality and control them away from your home. I have encountered issues with the Bridge affecting my router and wifi, causing it stall and lose all connection. If this happens to you then I highly recommend change the ZigBee so that it doesn't affect your existing wifi channel. I asked Philips for support but they weren't helpful at all and were putting the blame on something else which I was very unhappy about and had to do my own troubleshooting. So if you do notice your network and router dropping off then change the ZigBee channel. Apart from that confusion and frustration it's a must have device and a much needed investment to take full advantage of the Hue ecosystem."
